How can I persuade my son to go vegan?
It is a form of abuse to try to persuade or force your son to eat only vegan food.
- Do not do it. Your son knows that he needs meat for his health, and he is right.
- It is a horrible fact of life that most of us, especially children, females and young people need meat to be healthy. Not burgers from a fast food chain, healthy lean red meat.
- I am not a fan of the SAD diet. Processed meat is unhealthy, in large or regular doses. You might like to eat a healthy omnivorous diet.
- I feel that it would be a good idea to wait till your son leaves home before your go vegetarian or vegan if you must go on this diet to save the animals, and for your own spiritual or religious path.
- Allow your son to decide for himself as an adult if he wants to be a vegetarian.
- I am of the opinion that forcing vegetarianism on children is likely to make many of them massive meat eaters when they grow up.
- Not every ones body is suited to the vegan diet. Your sons body may be different to yours.
- I know that we have 4 sharp canine eye teeth, proving that we are creatures that are meant to eat at least a little meat.
- We truly are obligatory omnivores. Whatever you think of eating meat moral wise, our bodies requires meat like a cat does, but of course a cat is a carnivore.
- I am of the opinion that you don’t need a massive steak every day, just a little piece the size of the palm of your hand.
- I would consult a health professional about how much red meat to eat.
