  1. 5. Attack On Titan

It’s so hard to find Anime like Attack On Titan, with it’s unique world and situation.

The human population is on the verge of extinction, humans are being eaten by giant human looking beings called Titans.

The remaining humans on earth have retreated into huge walls which protect them from the Titans.

One day Titans manage to breach the wall and swarm in devouring any humans in sight.

Humans have their backs against the wall and are forced to fight. This fight for survival is what the world revolves around.

The humans have unique weapons and tactics to kill the Titans and that’s what makes this Anime so great. It’s uniqueness is unrivalled.

    4. Gurren Lagann

An over the top Mecha with amazing visuals, its gorgeous graphics are eye candy.

Gurren Lagann is awe inspiring, deep intertwined plot that leaves viewers thinking deeply at the philosophical implications.

The most blood pumping, metal smashing Mecha fights you will ever see and I can guaranty that!

Kamina is one of the most inspiring Anime characters out there…

…”Don’t believe in yourself. Believe in me! believe in the Kamina who believes in you!

I love that damn speech, every damn time he makes it. It sends goose bumps down your body!

An optimistic Anime that delivers a cheesy message about believing in yourself and never giving up!

    3.Berserk

If I were to sum up this Anime in one word it would be “BERSERK!” Just as it’s title indicates.

This Anime is about a guy called “Guts” who joins up with mercenaries called the Band Of The Hawks.

This Anime is set in a medieval fantasy world, with swords that are always clashing, creating lightning sparks against each other.

This is one of the bloodiest Anime I have seen to date.

When you see Guts then you knows your going to see some blood spraying all over the damn place.

Guts will go to any means necessary to win a battle.

I would recommend this anime if you:

    • aren’t afraid of blood
    • OK with betrayals
    • not too fussed about corrupt societies

Then this just might be the Anime for you.

Oh I almost forgot to mention…

…this has the most F’d up ending ever in an Anime. So if you’re a light hearted, bright and happy soul, then you should probably skip this one.

(The 90’s Berserk series is a whole load better than Berserk 2016 series).

    2.Death Note

Thrilling plots, intense action and every episode leaves you hanging!

That there is Death Note in a nutshell.

You follow Light Yagami. A high school student who one day finds a notebook and if you write someone’s name in it, they will die!

    INSANE?

Yeah, it really is. Light wants to create a world free from evil but a detective named L makes Light’s dream much harder to achieve.

L wants to find Light and put him behind bars.

Ultimately Light wants to create a new world and be its God.

Light and L are constantly battling it out. This anime is all about the capacity for inventive thought and the rivals having quick understanding.

    Keen intelligence is key.

Death Note is a damn good time and every anime fan should watch this.”

  2. Well it depends on your choice and preference towards the genre. I quite like some animes, whereas my brother doesn’t he prefers more slice of life kind.

But If you are asking in a general sense, I would recommend the following :—(No particular order here)

    Naruto

Action packed adventure of a teenage boy from being the loneliest kid to the greatest hokage and possibly the strongest ninja in the world.

Despite being orphaned at birth because of the Kyubi attack on his village and neglected by everyone near him. Naruto strives to be the strongest ninja their is and wants to surpass his father who was the hokage and saved the entire village from Nine tails.

This long and I mean very long tale has everything that an anime or a story can have betrayal, truth, lie, justice, murder, revenge, politics, strategy, inspiration and most important sacrifice.

You can find at least one character in this series that you can relate to or like to be him/her (Mine is Itachi).

So just give it a try I’m sure this anime is the right one for anyone who wants to get in anime.

    Deathnote

You should obviously try this one if you like the story arcs of cat and mouse chase or if you prefer stories like Sherlock Holmes.

Light Yagami is a bright student with many opportunities laying ahead of him, but something always bugs him about the world and all the crime that’s in it. If only he could have some way of rectifying this mistake of god.

As if someone was listening to his wishes, next day he found a notebook with Deathnote written on it and Eleven instruction inside.

The shinegami Ryuk who dropped the Notebook explains to him that whoever’s name is written on it will die.

Light sees this as his chance to become the new god “Kira” as the world starts calling him after he starts killing and getting rid of all the criminals of the world.

But this is not all, remember the cat and mouse chase. Here comes the cat, L suppose to be the greates detective in the world. He has taken upon himself to track down kira and bring him to justice. The series revolves around all the give and takes between Light and L and the situation it creates as L closes on Light and Light barely try to escape with hair on his head.

Total mind-blowing series. Watch it and then you’ll know.

    Re:Zero

Subaru is just and ordinary guy who loves playing games and is bored with his life. One day, as he was going home with his grocery shopping, he suddenly stepped into another fantasy world without knowing how when why or anything whatsoever.

The tale begins their as he believes that he has been send their for a reason and wants to believe that he is some kind of a hero. But soon the reality dawns upon him, he is no hero, he is no savior (not yet at least), he is still his old self living in an unknown world without his friends and family and without any knowledge of why he is here, or where here is.

He soon discovers the brutality of this world and the thin line on which it’s operates. As he dies over and over again but always comes back to a certain point. The trauma of watching the people he cares about, and himself dying over and over again is so haunting that his mind is about to just burst and he wishes to just get out of it all no matter what.

Watch it if your like a person who is fed up with protagonist always getting stronger as the series progresses. This will satisfy your need.

    17. Boku no Hero Academia

    18. Special A

    19. Scrapped Princess

    20. Bungou Stray Dogs

These are the ones I’ve watched that I really liked.

    Also, don’t forget Fairy Tail.

    • This list isn’t in any type of order-
    • NARUTO (without fillers)- this anime aroused a spirit of rivalry and friendship altogether. The manga was a huge hit and should be read.

    • NARUTO SHIPPUDEN( again has an end number of fillers)- this anime was in continuation with the above mentioned series and was pretty awesome and had some of the most tear jerking deaths in the history of anime.

    • TOKYO GHOUL (although 2nd season wasn’t as good)- watching this anime was cool beans. Although I would not recommend it for children, it has a different story line, scary scenes(sometimes), a psycho protagonist and has a good fan base.

    • GOLDEN TIME – this one is a little different from the other recomendations, it has a twist of romance and friendships and is also a must watch. It was interesting how the protagonist lost all his memories.

    • AKAME GA KILL- It’s a really good anime.although it’s a little boring in the beginning, i’m sure the one who’s reading this would like it. It’s another awesome anime of the same taste of Tokyo Ghoul.

  6. I like drama, adventure and mecha. If you love these, then you would be happy to watch:

    • Magic Knight Rayearth: Old but gold. First season might start a bit boring but through the end it gets crazy, and second season is just pure awesomeness. Amazing music.
    • Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan): Probably the best anime series ever. 2 seasons complete, at least two more on the way.
    • Code Geass: An unparalleled epic masterpiece. One of the art experiences I’m glad to have tasted in my 37 years life.
    • Guilty Crown: Rather similar to Code Geass, but truly gorgeous and epic in its own scale.
    • Neon Genesis Evangelion: A cult classic. For mature people with a philosophical approach and rather strong nerves.
    • Aldnoah Zero: A rather new piece of 2 seasons. Very good music, very good storytelling, beautiful art.
    • Valvrave the Liberator: Out of all mecha based animes, I would put it at the bottom of the list. Though it doesn’t mean it is bad. It is good, just the abovementioned names are better.

For other genres, I would recommend the beautiful pieces below:

    • Kuroko no Basuke(Kuroko’s Basketball): Sports, basketball, fun… and sportive superpowers…
    • Haikyuu: Sports, volleyball, VERY FUN… and storywise very similar to Kuroko no Basuke.
    • Shingeki no Bahamut: Amazing art, very good storytelling, fantasy.
    • Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Amazing art, amazing music, very good storytelling. Second season will come in 2018.
  7. I’m extremely picky when it comes to anime—for me, there are very few that enter the realm of “watchable” let alone recommendable. That being said, here are a few of my faves:

    *Samurai Champloo

    *Black Lagoon

    *Cowboy Bebop

    *Pokemon (The Original)

    *Detective Conan

    *Anything Miyazaki

    Enjoy!

    2. Code Geass

    3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

    4.Naruto

    5. Cowboy Bepop

    6. One piece

    7. Attack on Titan

I didn’t provide the overview of these anime . The best thing to do is watch these anime and feel the awesomeness of these masterpieces.

    Watch and Enjoy!!

  9. The most recommended anime

This list of anime is what you must watch before you die! :

    -Death Note :

    -Hunter x Hunter (2011) :

    -Code Geass :

    -Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood :

    -Steins;Gate :

  10. Movies –

Hayao Miyazaki films: Granted, they’re arguably one of the most popular titles in the anime industry. But it’s because of these movies I was properly introduced to the world of anime. Personal favorites would be: Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke.

Mamoru Hosada: He’s a director with recently gained recognition. Some people call his newest works the new Miyazaki films. And in a way, Hosada’s movies are reminiscent of the fantastical and mythological worlds and stories that Miyazaki created. Recommendations: Summer Wars, Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast.

Garden of Words: It’s rather a short-length movie but appropriately so. The plot is quite simple and the art is amazing. And Miyu Irino voices the main character.

A Silent Voice: A heart touching story between a deaf teenage girl and her former bully. A good example of how much one can impact another person. …And Miyu Irino voices the main character.

    Series –

Fullmetal Alchemist franchise: [Complete?] Two brothers are on a mission to restore their bodies after dabbling with the ultimate taboo in alchemy. And along the way, they discover their journey is only part of a bigger picture. Amazing character and plot development, a wide range of characters, and deep themes of reality and significance of life.

There were two shows that ran under that name. The original Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) and then the reboot Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009). I enjoyed both immensely, but I would recommend the 2009 rendition if you want to keep to the manga source. I would recommend the 2003 if you would want to explore how the show developed when the manga wasn’t completed then. Brotherhood was my first anime love.

Haikyuu!!: [Ongoing] I usually avoid sports anime like the plague for many reasons. It’s the stereotypical underdog growing at a rapid pace and his journey to the ultimate destiny in that sport. But the show presents that efficiently and effectively. Not only that, it gives significant attention to the main team and a good amount of lime light to their opponents.

Plus Miyu Irino voices a favorite character of mine on the main team. (If you haven’t noticed already, I really love listening to this voice actor. Fun fact: He voiced the character of Haku in Spirited Away.)

Magi franchise: [Ongoing] Basically, it’s Japan’s twist on a mix of Arabian Nights, King Arthur legends, and Biblical themes. Lovable and memorable characters and a good balance between humor and drama.

  11. ADMIN: Okay, if you have Netflix and don’t really have access to any other anime (such as I did a while ago), your best bet would be Samurai Flamenco. It follows a young male model, Masayoshi Hazama, and his dream to become a superhero. Funnily enough he bumps into Hidenori Goto, a policeman who soon enough becomes wary of the heroic stunts Masayoshi tries to pull. Masayoshi has a strong “never give up” feeling inside him, even if he gets publicly humiliated on social media as Samurai Flamenco. One problem is the probability of Masayoshi’s strict boss, Sumi Ishihara, finds out. The majority of the characters in this show is completely lovable, and trust me, every episode leaves you wanting more. This show definitely will not disappoint you. I highly recommend it!

  12. I have recommendedations for different categories.

Cooking: Shokugeki no Soma (third season just came out) and Yumeiro Patissiere

Comedy/Slice of Life: I can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, Non Non Biyori, Nijiiro Days

Fantasy: Yona of the Dawn, Beyond the Boundary

    Sad/Drama: Clannad, Angel Beats, Kotoura-San

  13. This is my Ranking of what I think are the best Anime.

    1. Attack on titan(Shingeki no kyojin)
    2. One piece
    3. Hunter x Hunter
    4. DragonballZ
    5. Naruto
    6. Death note
    7. Samurai X(Rurouni Kenshin).
    8. Code geass.
    9. Full metal Alchemist.
    10. Getbackers
    11. InuYasha
    12. Fairy tail
  14. It depends on what you are looking for. My favorite anime and one that I would recommend is

    Romeo x Juliet

As you can guess it it the story of Romeo and Juliet but with a twist. All the capulets are killed off except for Juliet and a few of their followers. Juliet is forced into hiding and the Montagues are on the hunt for her.

It is an interesting story and a good one at that. There is the romance but plenty of action. This is not just for girls; I know plenty of guys who enjoy this anime as well.

I would tell you more about it but I do not want to give the story and all the twists and turns away. I will say this. When watching and Romeo and Juliet movie or reading the play, I cant wait for them to die. Durring the anime I just pray that they dont.

  15. I hugely enjoyed Code Geas. Judging by its reviews and how often it ends up on 10 top lists it's likely worth a watch. Yes it's a mecha series at heart but it has so much more going for it.

    Code Geass – Wikipedia

  16. I’d recommend Gurren Lagann if you like action anime with good story. Seven deadly sins for characters.

    Steins;gate and Deathnote to everyone.

Oregairu to people who like to think about little things in life.

  17. It depends which genre do you want.. Anyways I have watched 46 animes so far.. And of them these are the top animes which I recommend you to watch..
