  1. Total applicant : 8 to 10 lacs

    Appeared in prelims : 5–6 lacs

    Qualify Prelims : 15–16000

    Qualify mains : approx 3000

    Final : approx 1000

  2. About a million applications are sold, and about 80 percent appear. The final has about 1500 names including group B.
