Any software that tell the power consumption of a PC

An application known as "Joulemeter" is available on the internet.

It is an application designed to estimate the power consumption of your computer. It tracks computer resources, such as CPU utilization, disk activity, screen brightness etc. and estimates power usage.
Joulemeter is extremely simple and requires no other settings than calibration in order to obtain more accurate data.

  1. If you are on Linux, there are various tools. In particular, on GNOME, the Power Statistics (gnome-power-statistics) program will do that, and display usage graphs too. This, and other GUIs, are front ends to existing tools like UPower (http://askubuntu.com/questions/1…).
